2000 Football Team
State Runner-up, Region Champs, best record in school history 12-3, 12 straight wins to reach the State Final. Played two games vs. the #1 team in the nation. The trip to the Finals was the quickness of any new school in Georgia football history (at that time). Only three other Cobb County football programs have reached the final-Marietta in 1959, McEachern in 1999, and Walton in 2012. Over 21 players on that team went on to play college football.
